Introduction

This document describes how personal and non-personal information is collected, used, retained and disclosed when using the Downloader724 application (hereinafter "the app", "we", "us"). By installing and using the app you agree to the terms of this policy.

Permissions / Access

For proper operation, the app may request one or more of the following permissions. These permissions are required only to provide specific functions:

• Storage (Files): Read and write files to store or upload downloaded files and backups.
• Network / Internet access: Download files and check for updates.
• View network connections / Wi‌Fi: Detect whether an internet connection is available.
• Run at startup: (Optional) Resume downloads after the device restarts.
• Control vibration: For local notifications (optional).
• Keep device awake: During long-running downloads.

All permissions are used solely to provide app functionality and data is stored locally on the device unless you actively enable sync or send crash reports.

What data is collected

Personal Data

• By default the app does not collect personally identifiable information (name, email, user ID, etc.), except in the following cases:
• When you voluntarily provide an email or contact information to send a crash report or request support.
• If you voluntarily provide information for sync/cloud services (for example signing in to a personal account to store backups).

Usage Data

The app does not, by default, collect or transmit usage data to a server. If analytics/advertising features are enabled in the future, this policy will be updated.

Crash Reports

If enabled or submitted manually, crash reports may include technical logs that normally do not contain personal information but may include your email address or username if you include them. These reports are used solely to diagnose and fix issues.

Third‌party service providers

The app may use third‌party libraries or services that have their own privacy policies.

Important note: This app uses Google AdMob for advertising. AdMob may collect and process information such as the Advertising ID, device information and technical data to deliver relevant ads. The processing and transfer of such data is governed by Google's/AdMob's privacy policies and may involve international transfers. For more detailed information about AdMob's data collection and use, please review Google's privacy policies.

International data transfers

If data is transmitted to external servers, it may be transferred outside your country. If you voluntarily send data to servers (for example crash reports or cloud sync), those servers may be located outside your country. By sending data you consent to such transfers.

Data retention

• Local data (downloads, settings, backups) will remain on the device until you delete them.
• Crash reports and support information will be retained only as long as necessary to diagnose and fix the issue, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure; however, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. Users are responsible for securing their device and synced accounts.

Children

The app is intended for general use and is not suitable for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from young children. If you believe we have collected data from a child without parental consent, please contact us to request removal.

The app may contain links to third‌party websites or services. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy practices or policies of those sites or services. Please review the privacy policies of any third‌party services before using them.
